28 Jan We are discontinuing our services as of January 31st, 2021

To our dear clients,

Coming into 2021, the COVID pandemic has affected every corner of the globe – all of our families, our communities, and our entire way of life. Yet there is a feeling of being hopeful – the vaccine, new leadership, and Spring coming soon. I sincerely hope that you and your families are well and safe in this New Year and that better days are truly within sight.

Over the past year, businesses have taken a huge hit and sadly, Barefoot Tiger is no exception. We’ve made adjustments and pivots over the last 10 months and have done our very best to keep our staff working. Our staff have pivoted as well, shifting to online training with ease, for which I’m so grateful to them and to all of you.

Sadly I’ve come to the realization that our current trajectory, and with at least another 9-10 months before things can truly return to ’normal’, does not have a positive outcome.

So, it is with great sadness that after more than 15 years dedicated to helping our clients live healthy lives in strong bodies, Barefoot Tiger will be discontinuing our services on January 31, 2021. I realize this may feel abrupt and leave you with a lot of questions for which I hope to be able to provide you answers below. For most of you, this change will be very subtle, and if you have remaining sessions with us, not to worry!

In creating Barefoot Tiger we worked hard to make sure that our trainers, teachers, and coaches had the support they needed to do the work they love. In turn, they used their incredible expertise to help their clients be the best they can be too. I am truly honored to have worked with each and every one of our team members, many of whom have been with us for many, many years. This is a tough message to write and it’s heartbreaking to see a business that I nurtured for 15 years shuttered, BUT, I do not want to discount the incredible 15 years that we had!

To you, our dear clients, we thank you for your trust and partnership. I feel privileged to have been on this journey with every one of you. Thank you for trusting us with your most important asset – your health, and for your partnership in creating the healthy vision you wished for. You truly inspire me every single day.

We are here to answer any questions you have as we transition to our next adventures, and our trainers are still available for private sessions. You may contact them here!

In gratitude,
Kendra

I have sessions remaining – what happens now?

We will be in touch with you individually to verify how many sessions you have remaining on your packages or any outstanding balances. Any unused sessions as of January 31st, 2021 will be paid to your teacher or trainer as ‘completed’, and you and the trainer may schedule those sessions as they work for you.

What if I want to keep working with my trainer after Barefoot Tiger closes?

Once you have completed any remaining packages with Barefoot Tiger, or should you choose to work with a trainer after the company’s discontinuation of services, you may reach out to the teacher or trainer directly to set up a schedule and payments directly with them. As of our closing date of January 31st 2021, our staff will no longer be bound by our contract and can continue working with you under your mutually agreed upon conditions.

On this note, our website will remain active and the contact information for our teachers, trainers and coaches will be available on the site for future reference.

What happens to my Barefoot Tiger account on MindBody Online and my credit card information?

If you have questions about your MindBody Account with Barefoot Tiger or would like to have screenshots of your account before we close it, please let us know by February 10, 2021. After that date, we will no longer have access to any of the files on MindBody Online.
