Specialties

Yoga specialties include Iyengar inspired teaching, therapeutic yoga sequencing, restorative, yin, meditation, yoga nidre, as well as teaching a flow Vinyasa sequence. I work best with beginners, injuries, and people who want to refine the practice. Power Vinyasa junkies are not my students.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
I was all set to answer the question in a specific way but I decided by doing that I would limit my accomplishment! As a student, the thing that makes me most happy is the ability to find stillness during the day. It’s moving meditation and it’s pretty cool.

Who do you admire and why?
SHHHHH! I admire my 20-year-old son. He has an amazing sense of what’s really important to him in his life. He is a free thinker, creative, and very intelligent. He has an ability to see things in a very realistic yet idealistic way. Very refreshing! He has strong beliefs and is not afraid of acting on them!

What traits in others are you attracted to?
Compassion, humor, kindness, listeners, intelligence, open mindedness, creativeness, transparency, and humbleness.

If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would it be and who would it be with?
Hmmmmmm! So many choices! I love traveling! I have been to Rome three times and love the food and the people! Although there is chaos (just watch the way the Romans drive), yet here is this relaxed feeling. Chaotic yet it makes sense. I could be happy with pasta and gelato every day! And, of course being surrounded by the history.

What word describes you best?
Balanced.
